This is how to figure out if a TXV is not letting enough Refrigerant into the Evaporator or if there is a blockage in the line or screen that is not allowing the proper amount of Refrigerant into the Evaporator Coil. I go over what it looks like, what happens, and how to test for a Bad TXV or Obstruction. This problem scenario will effectively limit the capacity of the coil to absorb heat from the house while also freezing part of the coil over with Ice!
