Liquid Line Restriction on AC Unit Explained! Found Bad TXV!

In this HVAC Video, I show how to tell if you have a liquid line restriction such as a clogged metering device, clogged filter drier, or clogged strainer screen. In this case, the TXV bulb lost some of its refrigerant pressure. I measure saturated temperatures, line temps, superheat, and subcooling to determine the problem. I put the determined that the TXV had lost part of its bulb charge but not all of it so when I put the bulb in warm water, the superheat lowered.
