Fast Check for a Very Low Refrigerant Charge on an A/C Unit!

In this HVAC Video, I Show How to Quickly Measure if a System is Very Low on Refrigerant (Undercharged). You don't need to melt the ice on the evaporator to measure if the system has lost most of its charge. We can use subcooling regardless of the metering device when subcooling is low. If the unit is off, you don't need to turn it on to tell if it has lost 7/8 of its full refrigerant charge! We can use the surrounding air temp and compare it to the refrigerant's saturated temperature!
