Checking Refrigerant Charge!: How to Properly Attach the Gauges! What to look for Before Charging?

This is a description of what you need to take into consideration when hooking up a refrigerant gauge set to an outdoor ac unit, what the temperature needs to be outside, where each hose attaches to, and other aspects. We do a check of the refrigerant charge level in subcooling at the end.
