Bad Refrigerant Compressor? Explained and Tested in the Field!

This is a Service Call where I found a Bad Compressor by checking for continuity from the compressor terminals to the grounding circuit. The breaker was popping immediately when turned on. I explain where I started testing and where it took me along with how to diagnose the problem with a multimeter.
